Peyton Stoike , Editor in Chief
My name is Peyton Stoike.  I’m a senior at AHS. I’ve played for the high school softball team since my freshman year. I’m a very good student, and I also try my hardest in everything I do. I am a fourth year staff writer for The Spud, making me the Editor in Chief.
After high school, I plan to attend a four-year college and major in journalism and possible double major in education as well. Ever since being put in this class freshman year, I have learned that I love it and it’s what I want to do with my life.
Last year, I participated in musical, softball, one act, choir and band. Being able to perform for people and music are my passion, that’s why I love being in drama, choir, and band. I spend my free time with my teammates who are also my best friends, being social, and also binge watching Disney movies.
In the summer of 2015, I attend HOBY leadership conference in Hastings, NE. Out of all of the sophomores at Alliance High School I was the one to attend this conference. We learned how to become better leaders as well as meet new people our age from around Nebraska. That summer I was also crowned 2nd Attendant at the Box Butte County Fair. I was extremely excited to be crowned after practicing very hard. I enjoyed my year reigning with my fellow fair royalty. This past summer, I attended RYLA, otherwise known as the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards. I had the time of my life attending this camp. I made new friends and memories, learned a lot more than I already knew about how to better myself as a leader, and had fun while I did it!
I am going to put my best foot forward and enjoy writing for my last year on the SPUD:(((
