Hey guys! My name is Madison Hiemstra, I am the 17 year old daughter of Randy and Angie Hiemstra and currently a senior here at Alliance High School. I am the loving sister of Sydnie and Mason Hiemstra. Sydnie graduated from Alliance High School in 2013 and is now a student at Chadron State College and Mason is a freshman here at Alliance High School. I am involved in numerous activities such as Key Club, Student Council, Health Professions Club, volleyball, cheer and track. I was also a dancer for 12 years.

After graduating from high school, I would like to play volleyball in college and study dental hygiene.

I am really excited to be a part of The SPUD this year because I am interested in what journalism is all about inside and outside of the classroom and I think it will help me later on in life with a lot of things as well. I try to be involved in as many school activities as possible and that is another reason why I am excited to start my journey as part of The SPUD Staff. I am looking forward to covering numerous activities along with other various topics this year! Go Bulldogs!
