The theme on Friday was “purple out” for AHS freshman, Sophia Collett. Sophia was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in early October. Sophia’s father, brother and friends were presented with a football jersey by the coaches and senior players during halftime. All of the players and coaches signed the number 11 jersey, representing the 11 players on the football field. “The season overall was a success, even if the record didn’t show it. I wouldn’t hesitate to do it all over again.” senior Cameron Nagaki states.

The SPUD would like to congratulate all of the players and coaches on a great season. We would also like to ask that you keep Sophia and her family in your thoughts and prayers, as they need our support during this tough time.
