Alliance Boy’s Golf Excels at Home Triangular

On March 31, the Alliance Boys Golf team participated in the Alliance Golf triangular. The triangular included Alliance, Bridgeport and Chadron. Alliance junior, Anthony Hare tied for first with the score of 41. Michael Gomez tied for fourth place with a score of 43. Logan Dietrich tied for fifth with a score of 44. Nathaniel Jensen turned in a score of 54 while Preston Pohlman shot a 55. Tyler Girard carded a 59, while Cheney O’Connor golfed a 61. Chase Thompson shot a 62, Lane Applegarth golfed a 65, Jake McCaffrey turned in a score of 67, Dylan Horton golfed a 68, Cameron Collins shot a 72 and Garret Schmid scored a 74.

The boy’s golf team is coached by Ryan Waters. The Bayard dual scheduled for April 2 has been postponed due to inclement weather. The Bulldog golf team will resume action on Tuesday April 6, at Hillside Gold Course in Sidney.
