Boys’ Basketball Gets A Head Start

On Thursday, November 20, the Alliance High Boys basketball team held their season opening scrimmage. Although the boys only played for a short time, the scrimmage was a great way to start the season off and give the boys a game-like situation. Head Coach Roger Trennepohl said he called last Thursday’s scrimmage a scrimmage for two reasons. “One to create an expectancy from within my players to compete with each other and two, for me to get a look at who is really putting themselves in a position for some success”

There is another scrimmage planned for Tuesday, November 25 at 6:30 p.m. to help the boys prepare for their season opener against Omaha Gross on December 5.
