Anthony Hare, Staff Writer
Hello! I am Anthony Hare, a first year writer for the SPUD. I am currently a junior at Alliance High School. I enjoy playing both varsity tennis and golf for Alliance High. During the winter, I also have the pleasure of taking stats for the Alliance High Boys Basketball team. My favorite hobbies include playing guitar, hunting, hiking, and restoring motorcycles. Music is a very big facet of my life. I play guitar, drums, and piano and make it a point to listen to music at some point during my day. Some of my favorite shows include “The Office”, “Arrested Development”, and “Parks and Recreation”.
I am currently the student council vice president and am very active in the Alliance Chapter Order of DeMolay. I also attend meetings for Alliance High’s finance club.
Some of the most influential people in my life include Neil deGrasse Tyson, Carl Sagan, Steven Hawking, and Warren Buffet. After high school, I plan on getting a degree in either accounting or economics from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and starting my own brokerage or becoming a financial advisor. I am very excited to be writing for the SPUD this year!
