The Alliance Bulldogs participated in the Western Conference Basketball Tournament on December 4 through 6. Both teams went 1-2.

The girls started the tournament off with losses against Omaha Gross Catholic and Scottsbluff. They finished strong, winning 50-42 over Greeley West.

The boy’s team started the tournament off well with a 47- 44 win over Gross Catholic. They lost their next game against Scottsbluff, but faced Chadron on Saturday afternoon for the third place game. The Bulldogs fell short in this game, losing 36-54.

The girl’s team finished 7^th, with Omaha Gross winning the tournament. The boy’s team finished 4^th, with Scottsbluff winning the boy’s tournament.

Both teams play in Gering this Friday. Junior Varsity will be at 4:00 with varsity girls and boys at 5:30 and 7:00 respectively.
