Financial Aid Program

The Financial Aid Program was held Tuesday, December 9 at the Public Library. Alliance High School Principle George Clear started the presentation, and a woman who worked at Education Quest filled in the rest of the details involving scholarships, applications, deadlines, and how to fill out the FAFSA. Those who participated in the Financial Aid Program were fed chili before the presentation. Students went with their parents and plenty of beneficial advice was given. Students also had the chance to win a 500-dollar scholarship.

At the Financial Aid Program, students were given packets that listed the prices of colleges. Most scholarships are due in January and the FAFSA is due afterwards. It’s important that students speak with their parents about the future and how they will pay for college if they decide to go. On January 8, a similar night will be held on how to fill out a scholarship.
