Last Tuesday, November 18, 2014, students from Alliance High School toured Chadron State College and it’s campus. There were twenty-three students present for the tour. They got the opportunity to talk to people who live on campus and talk to people who specialized in the career that they are interested in. They got to work with the college students and get help on understanding each other and the college life. Terra Garcia commented about this trip and said, “We learned a lot about each other, different issues and strategies to approach them. There are right ways and wrong ways to address concerns and we learned from sharing both mistakes and successes.” She will be going to CSC for college next fall. Her favorite part about the trip was talking to people who were experts in her career. She looks forward to being a CSC Eagle!
