The Alliance High School held its annual musical, this year being none other than Clue. Mrs. Soriano gathered the best of the best performers to turn a board game into a reality. With amazing roles and characters performed by five seniors and four underclassmen. The show consisted of one-on-one with the cast and the audience, and a different ending every night. Such as Mr. Peabody (Sierra Banks) taking the lead and helping the audience unravel a mystery. Before the show began audience members had an opportunity to grab a playing card, follow along with the show, and play the game of Clue. Each ending of the scene Mr. Peabody gives the audience three clues on who, where, and with what.
Many audience members played the game, but some just came to watch! The show was a huge hit for the first night with tons of laughter and cheer. No intermission and a straight run-through made the night run well. I asked Sierra Banks what the hardest thing about being the main character was. She stated, “It was hard mesmerizing the lines because there were so many ”. The outcome of the night was greater than expected, and everyone performed outstandingly. As the musical has two more show nights, I cant wait for more people to experience the amazing show that I did.
