On Thursday, December 11, 2014, the Alliance Wrestling Team had their first team dual hosting the Scottsbluff Bearcats. Lane Applegarth (126) started off the dual with a loss by tech-fall (2-17). Truen Henderson and Jorgen Johnson both had open matches, which scored the team six points each. Walker Johnson (145) won by pin in 59 seconds and Brent Thomas (195) also won by pin in 1:20. Matt Paychek, James Rodriguez, Ross Dunn and Daniel Hinojosa all lost by pin. Jacob Baldwin (220) won by decision (8-6). Buster Wilson (170) also won by decision in overtime (10-8). Manny Cabello (153) won by decision (3-2). Dj Weare (138) lost by decision (3-10). Unfortunately, the bulldogs lost the dual 33-35. Their next tournament will be Saturday, December 13, and their next dual will be on Thursday, January 8, at home.
