Hi, I am Jordan Mills, a sophomore here at Alliance High School, and one of the new Sports Writers for The Spud. I will be covering many of the sporting events at AHS, along with Brian Gould and Parker Cyza.
My hobbies include playing sports, hanging out with friends, and hunting. The sports I play are: basketball, which is my favorite, football, and baseball, and this year I am going to golf. My favorite basketball team is the Miami Heat, because they won the championship and my favorite player is LeBron James. My favorite baseball team is the New York Yankees and my favorite baseball player is Derek Jeter. My favorite college football team is Nebraska, of course, and my favorite NFL team is the Patriots. My favorite player for the NFL is Danny Woodhead, because he came from Nebraska.
I also like to watch a lot of television. My favorite TV shows are “Sports Center” and “Prison Break”. My favorite movies are “The Campaign” and “Coach Carter,” and I prefer movies that are funny or sports related. My favorite food is chicken fried steak and my favorite place to eat is, of course, McDonalds. It is always fun to go out to McDonalds and hang out with friends.
My goal this year is to make The Spud the best it has ever been.
