Hi everyone, I am Krista Carter. I’m a junior here at Alliance High School. I grew up farming and ranching on various farms and ranches around the Alliance area, including our family farm, a large registered Angus ranch. After high school I hope to attend the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and major in Animal Science with an Agribusiness option. I also hope to be a judge on the UNL Livestock Judging team.

I am very active in my school and community. I am the president of my 4-H Club and I am the Alliance FFA Vice President. I will also be competing on the National qualifying FFA Food Science team in Indianapolis later in October. I enjoy showing cattle, I am a state champion livestock judge and I enjoy watching college football with my dad and brother. I love the Nebraska Cornhuskers, the North Carolina men’s basketball team, Pinterest and Eric Church.

I am excited to be covering all of the exciting activities happening at Alliance High School this year and I wish the best of luck to all of you.
