On Thursday, March 19, 2015, the Alliance High School choirs performed in the spring concert. There were three choirs that performed, one duet and one soloist. The first choir to perform was Velocity. They added “All About that Bass” to their set that already consisted of “Hit Me With Your Best Shot/One Way or Another”, “Forget About the Boy”, and “Girls Chase Boys”. After Velocity performed, senior Collin Cox performed a solo that he has been working on for district music. Mixed Choir performed after Cox’s solo. They performed four songs as well. Shari Lisa Shoeber and Trajan Garcia performed a duet after mixed choir was done. Their duet was also practice for district music. When the duet was over, Harmonics performed. Their set consisted of “Counting Stars”, “Pompeii”, “Fix You”, and “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life”. The next choir concert will be May 4, 2015. This concert will be the final show of the year featuring all three choirs and will feature seniors who choose to do a solo or a duet.
