National FFA Week
Each year, National FFA week is celebrated all over the country. It is an opportunity for FFA members and sponsors to advocate the importance of agricultural education.
During National FFA week, there are plenty of events that allow members to communicate with others about what FFA stands for. Some of the FFA members’ host teacher appreciation breakfasts and others create “Agricultural Olympic” competitions, and in the process they reach out to the community and spread the message of what FFA is all about.
It’s important that people learn about FFA because agriculture is important and it affects everybody. National FFA week should be a good opportunity to show people the importance of FFA through fun events.
Alliance High School will follow a series of events for National FFA Week. Monday is Muddiest Truck Day, Tuesday is Ag Trivia Day, Wednesday is FFA Emblem Scavenger Hunt, and Thursday is FFA T-shirt/Camo Day.
