Alliance Travels to WNCC for FFA

On Wednesday, January 7, Alliance’s FFA traveled to WNCC’s Scottsbluff campus to attend career development contests. The welding team consisted of Brent Thomas, Tyler Quick, Kyle Krantz and the alternate Travis Eck. The students that competed in Livestock Management were Cody Henderson, Chloe Hererra, Trevor Leisy, Dani Carter, Ashlee Wallesen, Michael Johnston, and the alternate Cameron Collins. The two students competing in Floriculture were Cheryl Aby and Tess Benham.

The team tied for eighth place. Michael Johnston commented about the contest and said, “I wasn’t impressed with our performance, but hopefully we’ll do better next time.” Even though the team didn’t preform to its optimum potential, they will improve!
