Hello everyone! It’s February which means that there’s a lot of new music coming out from a variety of very different artists including Green Day, Justin Bieber and Ozzy Osbourne. Let’s dive into what these artists are coming out with this month. 

 

Green Day: Father of All…; February 7

Green Day is a rock band with the members Billie Joe Armstrong, Piano; Tre Cool, Drum Kit and Mike Dirnt, Bass Guitar. The band was formed in the East Bay of California in 1986 by lead vocalist Armstrong. This new album will be the great return of the rock band since 2016. Green Day has come out with twelve studio albums, three live albums, five compilation albums, one soundtrack album, four video albums, ten extended play, four box sets, forty three singles, ten promotional singles and forty seven music videos. With all this music out, Green Day has a total of 85 million albums sold worldwide. They will be coming out with their new, thirteenth studio album, “Father of All…” It is set to release on Feb 7. In an interview that Billie Armstrong had with Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s Beats 1, Armstrong states he wants to “make the people feel bad.” Armstrong also mentioned “Everything gets watered down and wimpy, and I think rock music should make you feel bad.” That is the only thing we know about the album, and fans are excited and anticipating this to be a good one. 

 

Justin Bieber- Changes; February 14

Justin Bieber was born on March 1, 1994, which makes him twenty-five. He was discovered when he was thirteen by manager Scooter Braun from seeing his singing videos on YouTube. Since Scooter discovered him, his popularity has grown. Justin has won numerous awards throughout his career including a Grammy, fifteen American Music Awards, twenty Billboard Music Awards, two Brit Awards, a Latin Grammy Award, three MTV Video Music Awards and more. One of his biggest concerts was his Purpose World Tour in 2016 when he sold 1,761,642 tickets. Justin’s discography includes four studio albums, three compilation albums, three remix albums, one extended play and forty two singles. He is now making a comeback with his new album in five years. He is coming out with his only song on the album that is known to the public is “Yummy.” This song was a single that Justin released on Jan 3, and it will be included in his new album. The one other thing that we know about the album is that Justin leaked song about Hailey Baldwin, his wife, called “Rejected.” Fans are speculating what this album will entail. 

 

Ozzy Osbourne- Ordinary Man; February 21

John Micheal “Ozzy” Osbourne, also known as Ozzy Osbourne, was born on December 3, 1948, which makes him seventy-one years old. He first originally rose to prominence in the 1970s as the lead vocalist in the heavy metal rock band “Black Sabbath,” while this time he gained the nickname “The Prince of Darkness.” Ozzy Osborne has won countless awards in music such as numerous Grammys and even one of the Grammys being the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019. Ozzy has come out with eleven studio albums, five live albums, seven compilation albums, five extended plays (EPs), sixty three singles, nine video albums and thirty nine music videos. His new album “Ordinary Man” which is set to release on Feb 21 has songs which include, “Straight to Hell,” “Ordinary Man” and “Under the Graveyard.” Lifetime Ozzy Osborne fans are excited to see what he will come out with.
