Homecoming Week for Alliance High School was held from Monday, October 3, 2022 – Friday, October 7, 2022. Which was then followed by the grand finale, the Homecoming Dance, was held Saturday, October 8, 2022. Despite losing the Homecoming game against McCook, the students here at AHS had smiles on their faces. They danced all night, in the “Around the World” themed commons. Also, the Homecoming royalties were featured at the beginning of the dance. Even the royalties for each class were wearing their sashes and danced the night away. Songs like the Cupid Shuffle, the Macarena, and Cha Cha Slide got the whole school participating in the dances in a big group. In fact, when there were slow dancing songs on, people got their dates and slow danced with their friends. Everyone was so excited for Saturday, people were counting down the days. I believe everyone enjoyed their time Saturday night, and cannot wait for next year!
