Freshman+1st+Quarter

When I was a freshman I couldn’t finish my year because of Covid-19. My first freshman year wasn’t that bad, but wasn’t that great because I couldn’t really find my way around the halls. For this article, I interviewed a couple of freshmen about how their first quarter has been so far.

When asked, how was your first day of AHS? Sierra Banks said, “It was pretty stressful but it was ok.” What do you think of AHS? Banks explained, “I really like Alliance High School. Also, I really like all my teachers this year, they’re really nice.”

When asked, is middle school better than high school and if so why?  Banks says, “The workload was easier in middle school, but here it pushes you to do your best.” Is it hard to be a freshman? Banks responded, “In my opinion no, if you just put effort it’s really easy. How do you think you did for the first quarter?  Banks said, “So far pretty good!”

Next I interviewed Carlie Schneider. Then I asked how was your first day of AHS? Schneider said, “It was really stressful I kept on getting lost.” Schneider agreed with Banks about what she thinks of AHS.

When asked is middle school better than high school? Schneider responded, “No way!!!” Is it hard to be a freshman and also keep up your grades?  Schneider stated, “No, I’m not saying it is super easy, but it’s not as hard as I thought it was going to be.” How do you think you did for the first quarter? Schneider said, “First quarter went great!”

The SPUD wishes the freshman a good year and hopefully the pandemic doesn’t affect anything with the freshman.
