For the past few years, the Alliance High School One Act Play group has been led and directed by Jill Hoesing. Though any of her replacements will never be the same, there is a new name in Performing Arts. This year, after assisting in directing, Mrs. Green will be directing our famous One Act Play, along with her assistant director, Mrs. Soriano.

Mrs. Green is not new to the acting industry. Before living here, Mrs. Green lived in Omaha for twenty-five years, and twelve of those years were spent as an actor. She also has a double major in Theater and Speech. She was a part of the Nebraska Theater Caravan, the Omaha Theater Company, and she was a co-founder of the Bluebarn Theater.

When asked what she wanted to improve upon form last year in One Act, her statement was that she “could not improve perfection.” Mrs. Green’s only goal is to improve the teamwork as well as continuing to build upon the legacy set by Jill Hoesing. Hopefully, a new director will only help improve our greatness, and I’m sure everyone is looking forward to a fun year!
