Luxie West, Staff Writer
Hello everybody! I am Luxie West, and I am currently a sophomore here at AHS. I am the youngest child of Ron and Dawn West. I am the youngest of four, my two brothers, Ryan and Clint, and my half sister, Sherri. All three are graduates of Alliance High School.
This is my first year writing for the SPUD and I am very excited to be apart of it. Writing is one of my favorite hobbies in school. This is my second year of being a part of the Alliance High School softball team. I am a very hard-working student that enjoys to be at school. Going into the 2016-2017 school year, I will be involved in softball, band and Health Professions Club. I am going into my 10th year dancing at 7th Street Dance Studio.
When I have free time, which is rare, I like to hang out with my friends and watch Netflix. My favorite show is Grey’s Anatomy. At the beginning of the summer of 2016, I traveled to Washington D.C. and New York City on the band trip. We marched in the Memorial Day Parade, and got to do a lot of sightseeing. We went to New York and toured many sites, including shopping in Times Square. It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience, and I would do anything to go back.
I am excited to be apart of the SPUD and can’t wait to be covering many topics. Everyone have a great year!
