Hi, I’m Mary Weingart, I am currently a sophomore at Alliance High and I am excited to be writing stories for The Spud. I am from Alliance, Nebraska; I grew up here, but my family originally came from Iowa and I am a die-hard Iowa fan. I read constantly, and don’t like having “down time”; I will always find something to do. I am a second basemen on the Alliance High softball team, and love every minute of it!

My goal is to take all the math classes offered at Alliance High;  I would like to because I am not particularly good at math and I would like to get better. I don’t watch television very often, unless one of my favorite shows are in season like, “Being Human” (the American series of coarse), “Teen Wolf”, “Big Bang Theory”, and “Castle.”

If I’m not reading, watching television, or playing softball, I’m most defiantly playing “Skyrim”, a very elaborate free realm video game set in old times It’s a thrill to play. Be sure to check The Spud regularly; the staff members work very hard on it and hope to have a large audience.
