Three More Athletes Taking the Next Step

Alliance High school is sending off three more outstanding athletes to play in college sports next year. Jordan Mills signed with Mid Plains Community College in North Platte to play basketball. Cody Robinson signed to play football and run track at Nebraska Wesleyan University. Mickenzie Brennan, also signed with Mid Plains Community College to play basketball.

Jordan has a love for basketball, he always has. He signed with Mid Plains Community College because he loves their tradition and he has heard many good things about the Coach. “I figured if I wanted to play for a good coach then there is no one better than Coach O’Connor” says Jordan. Jordan is very excited to be Knight. After college he would like to play over seas in a professional league somewhere.

Cody signed with Nebraska Wesleyan University because of their education programs and the smaller classes. Plus Nebraska Wesleyan has his major in Exercise science. Cody said, “Being able to continue my athletics is just a bonus.” He is excited about next year for sports, classes and the next chapter of his life. IMG_20150514_144913

Mickenzie signed with Mid Plains Community College for many reasons. She really likes the coach and the location. It was also financially better compared to some of the other schools she was looking at. Mickenzie is going into a secondary education for four years. She said, “I am super excited and pretty nervous about next year and being able to play at the next level.” Mickenzie just wants to keep playing basketball and study education. She is not sure at this point of what she would like to do after North Platte.
