Matthew Rash is the son of Shannon Trout. He is not involved in any school activities, but he stays busy serving in the Army National Guard. When asked his favorite high school memory, he replied, “enlisting, because it was a huge step into serving my community and joining the Army National Guard.” Advice that he would give to underclassmen is, “to be good to your teachers.” After high school, Matthew plans to go active duty and finish Ranger School. His favorite class is physics because, “It is just so interesting how much math is in everyday stuff.” One fun fact about Matthew is that he is only 17 years old.
