Senior Spotlight: Caleb Garcia

Caleb Garcia is the son of Michael and Beth Garcia. He is involved in choir, one-act and musical. After high school, he plans to go to Black Hills State University to study theater education, then he plans to pursue an acting career while teaching theater and acting. When asked his favorite high school memory, he responded, “Going to Gretna for district one-act and doing crazy and dumb stuff with my friends while we weren’t competing.” His favorite childhood memory is going to a Gabriel Iglesias show in Deadwood, then stated, “he is my favorite comedian and seeing him in person was amazing.” In ten years, Caleb sees himself pursuing a movie acting career and teaching theater at the high school level. When asked who he admired, he replied, “I admire my dad because even after having a hard childhood, he still pursued what he wanted to do and [he] succeeded in doing so.” One random fact about Caleb is that he has trained Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for three years and still has not broken a bone.
