Coachella is a major music festival held in Palm Springs. This festival is very popular among a lot of people and celebrities. The first Coachella festival was in 1999. The festival usually takes place in the spring and is held for about two weekends. This festival includes many music artist varying from the not so recognizable artists to the greatest of all time. Coachella is known as a place to express yourself through your clothing. It is a place to try out of the box things that you would never try before.

This year the festival took place April 13-15 and April 20-22. Coachella had a big lineup with too many names to mention, but some of the artists lined up to perform were The Weekend, Kygo, Post Malone, Migos, Eminem, Cardi B, and none other than Beyonce. According to many, Beyonce had one of her greatest performances of all time at Coachella this year. One of the high points of her performance was the Destiny’s Child reunion. Her performance left many in awe. The performance was visually pleasing and physically demanding. She had around six outfit changes in total and lots of choreography with background dancers. The performers are definitely the best thing to experience while at Coachella

Another big thing that a lot of people enjoy about this major music festival, is the expression of clothing. For years Coachella has had a set style for clothing wear. Some could describe it as “hippie” or “flower child.” Although this is true, the style has evolved since the flower crown days. Now, people wear unique and any kind of style. The outfits can vary from casual festival wear, to the typical hippie look, or to innovative modern fashion. People can be dressed in leather, sequins, or even all denim. This year Coachella was not about following a trend, but being and expressing your sense of style.

Coachella in all reality is just another music festival that many people have exploded into a very big thing. You could always watch your favorite artists perform any other day, but if you want to experience a place that has something for everyone, then Coachella is the place to be.
