Alliance High School Districts
The Alliance High School held their annual Music Districts on April 19th, 2023. Schools from across the panhandle came together to perform different music pieces. Ranging in band or in vocal music. Districts was open to the public, as many people came in to watch performances many had stated. “I couldn’t believe what I saw, a lot of the students coming together as one.” As the day went on solos came around very fast for many. I asked a couple of different soloists in vocal from different schools, how they felt after they performed their solo. They stated, “ It was scary some of the judges are tough, but you just have to stick it out and realize you can’t just stop midway.”
The District’s entrance was band territory! Where a hand-picked selection of band students sold their beef sticks. Lunch was slowly around the corner as sloppy joes were provided for 5$, what a deal! Scores are not yet released, so the patience to see your score is low! District is a highlight to many people, and The SPUD can not wait to watch Districts next year!
