The Alliance High School students are tired of standing in just a regular ole’ student section, yelling boring chants and not being that loud and, at some points, even sitting down. Therefore, this Thursday it’s the new and improved student sections’ time to shine.
Thursday night Alliance will be hosting the first home basketball game of the 2012-2013 season against Omaha Skutt. The evenings competition will kick off with a fundraiser tailgate party in the PAC commons between 4:30 and 6:30. They will be serving sloppy joes, chips, homemade brownies and a pop for five dollars.
The theme for Thursday night’s student section will be Black-Out; students should wear as much black as they possibly can.
I encourage all students and all parents to come out, show school spirit and cheer our athletes to victory!
