Mr. Jorge Redondo Pla is a 1991 high school graduate from Valencia, Spain. He studied criminology at Catalano Institute. He is married to Spanish teacher Mrs. Beth Anderson and is expecting his first child in April. This is his second year of teaching Spanish at Alliance High School; teaches Spanish 1 and IV. His favorite thing about teaching is being around students and influencing them to do their best in school.

He said Spanish school system is very different than the United States system; for instance, if students in Spain wanted to participate in clubs and sports they have to join a private school and pay for it.

Mr.Pla’s out of school hobbies included rock climbing, and he was also a swimmer in Valencia. Mr. Pla was a police officer and jailer for 5 years in the city of Valencia.
