AHS Band Christmas Concert

   January 10, 2023, at 7:00 P.M. the Alliance High School band celebrated their late Christmas concert. AHS parent body came to the Alliance High School PAC to support and listen to their children play. Mrs. Mangas led the band through the first semester preparing for their annual Christmas concert which brings joy to many.

 

        The concert played through with their first group in Jazz, playing many recognizable songs. “All is Calm, All is Bright” arranged by Blair Bielawski features a solo performed by Matthew Moomey on trumpet. “You’re a mean one, Mr, Grinch” arranged by Mike Story, with solos provided by Landyn Branstiter on tenor sax; Mathew Moomey on trumpet. “O Holy Night” arranged by Haley Woodrow, with a solo provided by Ian Gomez on flugelhorn. “A Charlie Brown Christmas” arranged by Paul Murtha, solo provided by Brexten Kimmel on trombone. 

 

         As a short intermission came along the concert band set up the stage to perform their pieces. “Still, Still, Still” arranged by Randall Standridge, with solos provided by Carlee Romero on clarinet, Aleshia Hicks on flute, and Graydon Zahn on alto sax. “Christmas Three” arranged by David Bobrowitz. As the night ends Mrs. Mangas wished everyone a Happy New Year for 2023! The AHS SPUD would like to wish the band very good luck with their next accomplishments!
