Homecoming Week

This last week was full of school spirit for Homecoming week. With fun dress-up days we were able to show our spirit and pride. Our days were tacky tourist on Monday, country up/ country club Tuesday, peace around the world Wednesday, anything but backpacking around the world Thursday and bulldogs around the world Friday. Many kids participated in the dress-up days making everything much more exciting. On Wednesday we had our Mini Olympics which had fun games and a lot of teams ready to do their best. At night we had our coronation where we announced Homecoming attendants. For the freshman class, their attendance was Kaiah Adams and Espen Lanik, sophomore class Emma Machado and Jackson Bailey, juniors had Sonya (Lucy) Behrends and Jackson Norris, seniors second attendants were Victoria Washington and Carver Hauptman, the first attendants were Sharyce DuBray and Lucas Smith, and the Homecoming king and queen Peyton Kindred and Tyzen Brown. We also got to watch an amazing performance by Mr. Cheerleader. The award titles given were Mr. Drama Queen to Carver Hauptman, Mr. Sunshine to Lucas Smith, Mr. Dance Queen to Tyzen Brown, Jump Queen to Jonah Amill for the second time, Mr. Cheerleader to John Kollars. At the end of the night, we got to enjoy the burning of the A. On Thursday we got to do the Mini Olympic finals where we got to announce the final winners. On Friday we had our Homecoming parade and later that night was the Homecoming football game!
