With Christmas just around the corner, Alliance High School has decided to host another ugly sweater contest this year on the 22nd of December.  It is a fun and festive way to end the first semester of this school year, especially after taking all of those finals.  There weren’t a lot of students that wore ugly sweaters, but there were enough to be judged.  Those who dressed up were called down to the office to be judged in the following categories: freshman winner, sophomore winner, junior winner, senior winner, and staff winner.

The freshman winner was Ory Trout, with a green sweater wrapped with a gold tinsel.  The sophomore winner was Alyssa Sanchez, with a red sweater with a small fake tree attached to the front with a red tinsel wrapped around it. The junior winner was Tyler Adamson, with a bright green sweater with “ho ho ho” lettered in felt on the front, along with a felt tree and bows. The senior winner Alex Stitch, with a bedazzled red sweater with Christmas decorations such as snowflakes and poinsettias. The staff winner was Mr. Custer, with a red button down sweater decorated with miniature fabric stockings, a christmas tree, Rudolph, bells, and santa hats.

Each of the victors received a $10 giftcard to Dairy Queen, courtesy of the Student Council. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!
