Wow. It is hard to believe that graduation is here, and my days on the Spud staff are coming to an end. I began my career with the Spud my sophomore year, joining as a sports writer. It quickly became my favorite class, and I have looked forward to the Spud everyday I have came to school. I became the Junior Editor my junior year, before landing the top position of Editor-In-Chief this year. It has truly been a wonderful experience and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time covering the wonderful people and activities that are involved with this school.

I will be attending the University of Nebraska Lincoln next fall, majoring in Biological sciences, hoping to move on to Medical school after that. The skills that journalism has taught me will no doubt help me along my journey.

The past three years in the Spud have been nothing short of amazing. From the endless debates, to the countless laughs, I will forever be grateful to everyone who helped me enjoy my day for the past few years.

I have nothing but confidence in next year’s Spud staff, and know that they will do great things. To everyone in the Spud family, I will be forever grateful for the awesome high school experience you helped give me. Thank you, and God bless.
