The Alliance Boys’ golf team compete at Ogallala’s West Wind Golf Course on Thursday, and placed 5th overall. “A cool and very windy day in Ogallala today made club choice extremely important,” said golf coach Dave Sautter, who also noted the guys played with a “little more confidence” than on Thursday in Scottsbluff. As the team turns into district competition on Monday, May 13, Sautter emphasized, “We will need to trust our swing to shoot our best score at District. Even though we shot in the 350’s today our goal will be 330 on Monday at the Scottsbluff Country Club. We’ll see how mentally focused we can stay for the entire day.”
