Alliance High School senior Danielle Brennan has qualified for the State Championship at Mahoney Golf Club in Lincoln, Nebraska. Brennan shot a 97 for a ninth place finish. “Congratulations goes out to Danielle as she is the first state qualifier we have had in Alliance in at least six years,” said BUlldog head golf coach Nate Lanik. Even with her stellar performance at districts, Brennan was not overly happy. “I can shoot way better than that,” said Brennan. However, the conditions on the course on qualifying day were very difficult. “The conditions were really bad, the wind was gusting over 30mph at times,” Brennan added. Brennan will tee off at 9:40 a.m CT, on Monday, October 8, at Mahoney Golf Club. “I want to play like I’m capable of playing,” said Brennan. “I would really like to place, but if I don’t I’ll still be happy with just making it to state.”
Alliance High wishes you the best of luck Danielle!
