The AHS Boy’s golf team competed at the Mitchell Invite on April 10. The Bulldogs shot a season low 347 to take 2nd place behind Kimball who shot a 331. Alliance’s number-2 golfer Parker Cyza shot a personal record, 80, to take 5th place. Other Bulldog scorers included Ryan Taylor, who carded a 88, Devan Oligmueller, who carded a 89, Nick Maser, who shot a 90, and Rennie Failor, who finished with a 91.
The Alliance Bulldog golf teams competed at the Alliance Invite and Scottsbluff Invite this past weekend. The Alliance Invite was held at Alliance’s Skyview Golf Course on Saturday, April 21. The Bulldogs finished with a 357 to take 8th place out of 9 teams. Bulldog scorers included: Nick Maser, 87; Parker Cyza, 87; Ryan Taylor, 89; Devan Oligmueller, 94 and Rennie Failor, 103. The junior varsity team also competed on Saturday and finished with a 387 to take 6th place out of 12 teams. JV scorers included: Austin Mundt, 97; Ethan Halstead, 108; Logan Deitrich, 92; Michael Johnston, 101 and Colton Williamson, 97.
Both Bulldog teams also competed at the Scottsbluff Invite on Monday, April 25. The varsity team finished in a tie for 5th place with a 348. Bulldog scorers included: Nick Maser, 82; Parker Cyza, 85; Ryan Taylor, 89; Devan Oligmueller, 100 and Rennie Failor, 92. The junior varsity proved major potential as they won the Scottsbluff Invite with a score of 369. Bulldogs JV scorers included: Austin Mundt, 103; Logan Dietrich, 89; Michael Johnston, 88; Ethan Halstead, 94 and Colton Williamson, 98. Johnson finished 4th in the individual scoring and Dietrich finished 5th.
Next up for the Bulldogs golfers will be the Western Conference Invite at Ridgeview Golf Club in Chadron on April, 30.
