The Alliance High cross-country team began their 2011 season at the Gering Invite at Monument Shadows in Gering on Friday, September 2. Overall the Bulldogs mens team got 11th, while the Girls team placed 8th. The varsity mens team posted the following results: 16^th-Josh Raum 18:38, 50^th-Devin Ushio 21:17, 54^th– Ryan Waggener 21:55, 55^th– Tristen Stephenson 22:01, 60^th– Austin Pohlmon 24:01, 61^st– Walker Johnston 24:56.

The junior varsity mens team posted the following results- 27^th– Andy Nunes 21:46, 67^th– Colton Rolls 24:59, 70^th– Derek Odell 25:31, 71^st-Seth Felker 25:39, 73^rd– Jared Schleicher 25:55, 77^th– Nick Pollack 26:55.

The varsity womens team posted the following results- 33^rd– Mikenzie Nordeen 19:08, 40^th– Destiny Hobbs-Gavin, 41^st– Brianna Young 20:00, 55^th– Valerie Beraun 22:26, 59^th– Lauren Block 23:32. Lindsay Block withdrew with a leg injury.

The Bulldogs will return to action at the Chadron Invite on September 10^th at 9:00.
