Quicken Loans Billion Dollar Perfect Bracket
March Madness is coming soon and Warren Buffet is offering a 1 billion dollar prize to anyone who creates a perfect bracket. In order to win, you would have to pick the winner of 67 games including the four play-in games.
Dr. Brad Carlin, a professor of School of Public Health at the University of Minnesota said that there are 128 quintillion different possibilities of filling out the bracket to get it perfect. That is 128 with another 18 zeros. The odds of actually winning are around 1 in 128 billion.
The contest is open to the first 10 million people. Carlin said,” The calculations I’ve done, the chance of anyone getting this, right out of 10 million, is more like .0078 percent.”
The contest is free and there are several other prizes such as, remodeling your house or money to a home purchase. Carlin also recommends to pick against the No. 16 seed; pick upsets and if you think is right pick against you favorite team.
They will be giving $100,000 to the 20 closest contestants. It’s a free registration under the Quicken Loans Business for the people of ages 21 and over.
