April showers may bring May flowers but game companies bring a full month of games and downloadable content.

The next game in the “Lego” franchise, “Lego: The Hobbit” follows the story of the first two movies and will add the final movie in a DLC (downloadable content) pack called “There and Back Again”. Inspired from “Minecraft” players can mine for gems, collect loot, craft magical items, and even build new “Lego” structures.

The Amazing Spider-man 2- April 29th

Rather than taking place after its movie tie-in “The Amazing Spider-man 2”, it takes place along with the movie and expanding upon the “Spider-man” universe.

Rambo: The Videogame- April 29th

Following the popular action movie and its sequels, “Rambo” puts you in the shoes of John Rambo and takes you on an action filled adventure.

NES Remix 2- April 25th

Nintendo is up first with exclusives this month and gives us 12 “new” games we all played as kids and even remixes “Super Mario Bros.” to “Super Luigi Bros.” and takes you through mirrored levels of the classic game.

Titanfall- April 8th

Moving on from Nintendo, Microsoft gives us “Titanfall” once again. After last months delay Xbox 360 players can finally enjoy the newest FPS (first person shooter) without buying an Xbox One.

The Elder Scrolls: Online- April 4th

No Sony exclusives this month we move onto the PC. Set an entire millennia before “The Elder Scrolls IV: Skyrim” and featuring four character classes Dragon Knight, Templar, Sorcerer, and Nightblade. This being the first online “Elder Scrolls” game players do not have to worry about being forced to play solely online but can enjoy the massive content alone.

Dark Souls II- April 25th

Really? People want this game ported to an even harder platform? I am impressed, shocked, and curious as to why, but hey I guess it’s a fun game. After being released last month for main consoles “Dark Souls II” makes its way to PC on the 25th.

Unfortunately there is no DLC this month, but we can always look forward to May. With spring finally here we see gamers enjoying the nice weather by holding up in their rooms playing new games and enjoying the great content we have been given by game companies.
