The month of February has finally arrived, and while busy artists are making their albums great, we’re just waiting patiently as these artistic visionaries complete their pleasant experiments to make our days better. Marketing is decent within the month of February, and while we wait, they’re preparing something special. The music has been nothing but bland this year, but we’ve only witnessed a faint month of it.

“Oxymoron” by Schoolboy Q has been a highly anticipated album for a while now, ever since Schoolboy Q’s record label TDE announced it. “Oxymoron” is Schoolboy Q’s third studio album, and it is his first album to be released under a major record label. Schoolboy Q announced that the album features Kendrick Lamar, 2 Chainz, Snoop Dogg, ASAP Rocky, Ab-Soul, Jay Rock, Danny Brown, Tyler, the Creator, Action Bronson, and the popular Wu Tang Clan member, Raekwon. The albums production should be great because many well-known producers such as The Alchemist, Boi-1da, J-Cole, and the Grammy winner, Pharrel Williams, handled it.  “Oxymoron” was supported by four singles, which are “Collard Greens,” “Man of the Year,” “Yay Yay,” and “Break the Bank.”

Music is currently still a slow process, as artists are just turning in their projects to their record labels. The beginning of the year is always slow with music, especially since things can always change, but music will definitely get better.
