The commercials for “Apollo 18” are truly enticing. If you have seen one you know that it portrays the mystery of space and of so called lost footage from a mission that “never happened.” These teasers, along with pressure from a good friend, made me decide to give it a try. Huge mistake. The point of the trailers must have been to disguise this truly awful movie, so I won’t ruin it, but I will elaborate upon what I hated about it. The twist was completely unexpected, but not worth the while. It was decently frightening, but it never seems to have a beginning, a real climax, or a satisfactory ending. The entire movie left me depressed after I saw it. It was topped of by creepily non-existent acting talent, which consisted of yelling at microphones. If you’re in for a few cheap thrills and don’t mind watching a movie without an actual story, this is definitely the movie for you.
