We had a chance to be able to play some games with our dog pounds. Dog Pounds is something we go to every Friday and see a certain teacher. They are there for us when we need anything.
One of the Fridays we got to do a thing called minute to win it games. We got to go around the school, play games, and verse other dog pounds. We played a pencil toss game, stacked the pennies, and so many other games. It was so much fun and I loved spending time with people I don’t know.
Having dog pound games, I believe helps others to know a lot of the new people who came into our school. Some of the teams were Mr.Mangas, Mrs.Mangas, Mrs. Acosta, Mr, Wells, Mr. J Crile, and Coach Crile. Mrs. Acosta’s team and Mrs. Mangas’s team versed each other in Mr.Mangas’s room with the game penny stacking. Mrs. Mangas’s team versed Coach Crile’s team in the library with the game pencil bounce. Coach Criles’s team versed Mrs. Schoeneman’s team in Mrs. Thompson’s room.
When I interviewed Rozlin Wills she said, “I love my dog pound so much! The games were awesome and definitely would want to do it again. It was so much fun and I got to know a lot of new people I never spoke to. Like I said it was so much fun and I would love it if it would happen again.”
This year has been so much better with the dog pounds and I would love if they would keep them for next year and all the years to come. I think it’ll become something great!
