Mrs. Smith is an English teacher  at Alliance High School. She teaches English 11, AP English 11, and creative writing teacher.  She attended and graduated from Black Hills State University. A friend of hers declined the job  at Alliance High, and mentioned her name. That is what brought her here to Alliance. She loves all of her classes, and couldn’t pick a favorite. Ms. Smith has taught for 27 years, and her favorite teaching moment is when her former students reach out to her over Facebook and tell what a difference she had made in their lives! She also has a few out of school hobbies like gardening, canning, working cattle, and flowering!

She has two daughters, Bailey and Madison. Her daughter Bailey is 22. She graduated high school at 16. Her daughter Madison will be 21 in November, and is a Surgical Tech. She also is happily in a relationship!
