The Alliance High School held their annual Job Fair. The School had many different businesses such as, BNSF, WNCC, BBGH, Highland Park, and many other professions. Going through the upper commons and looking at all the possibilities, it was hard to choose where to go first. With the thought of changing my college career path, WNCC helped me through what courses to change and where to change them. Although the job fair was only for juniors and seniors, many enjoyed the experience of seeing what Alliance has to offer. I asked the junior class how they felt going to each business, and many stated “It was fun, I really enjoyed the fact they had a college as well and not just simple businesses, the school really went above and beyond to help supply students with different ideas of job aspects.” Helping raise awareness for what is around Alliance, I hope the job fair is something that sticks around, for upcoming classes to be able to experience and hopefully as the town grows more jobs become available to the community!
