    FCCLA Leadership

Ever see posters in school or hear of FCCLA on the announcements and wonder ‘What the heck is FCCLA?’ FCCLA is Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America; promoting leadership and growth. There are a lot of things you can learn and seek with this group like leadership skills, learning opportunities like conferences, and family values.

FCCLA has brought a lot of people together because of how trustworthy it is and how they are able to talk about anything they want. It really helps with anxiety, and problems you have in general, and a lot of people are there for you so you can always go to them for help. Mrs. Thompson and Mrs. Green are the leaders of FCCLA. They are great helpers and very easy to talk to.

There is a lot of things you can do in FCCLA like focusing on the multiple roles of family member: wage earner and community leader. Members develop skills for life through character building, creative and critical thinking, and interpersonal communication.

When interviewed, Mrs. Thompson said, “I love being the FCCLA leader. I love spending time with the kids and being able to see them grow in so many different ways! Being a FCCLA leader means that you have to help the kids and the kids have to trust you. When the kids joined I was so happy because that’s when I knew they could trust me. I will forever love and take care of these kids like they are my own! I would like for you guys to join whenever you’d guys like.”

FCCLA has done so well this year but it is not over yet. Come down and see them in action at their next event. They are so good at what they do. Good job you guys! Keep up the hard work!
