The Alliance High School Softball team had a great game vs. Gering September 26th. The JV girls played at 4PM and varsity played at 6PM, lots of people came to support the girls, and lots of people cheered. We are glad the bulldogs can come together as one even for softball games.
The Alliance JV girls beat Gering 7 to 5, they were very proud of this because it’s another win they have gotten this year! The Alliance Varsity girls lost 0 to 5 but still did their best. The girls take lots of time to practice for their games and they are proud they can win with their JV girls and are planning on doing it again.
I spoke with Paige Jensen, a sophomore, at Alliance High School after the game who stated,”the game was very good the JV and Varsity did a very good job and i’m very proud of how we played and i’m hoping I get to play Varsity next game either way it was a very good game and lots of people came to support the team.”
The girls next softball game is against Bayard, they will be playing in Alliance at the softball fields JV is at 4:00PM and Varsity is at 6:00PM. We are hoping we see familiar faces at this next game and loud cheering just as much as the last game.
