April has arrived, the month where music begins to expand into an unpredictable territory. Sounds occur from different artists that arrive from out of nowhere, and there are typical artists, following genres and sometimes-even trends.

My House, Flo Rida, April 7, 2015

“My House” is the fourth extended play by American rapper; Flo Rida is set to be released on April 7, 2015 by Poe Boy Entertainment and Atlantic Records. It is Flo Rida’s first release to feature original material since “Wild ones”(2012). “My House” will be succeeded by the release of Flo Rida’s fifth studio album, “The Perfect 10.”

Love Somebody, Reba McEntire, April 14, 2015

“Love Somebody” is the upcoming twenty-seventh studio album from American country singer, Reba McEntire. Nash Icon will release the album on April 14, 2015. This is McEntire’s first studio album since the 2010 release of “All the Women I Am.” “Going Out Like That” was released as the album’s first single on January 6, 2015. American country music singer, Jennifer Nettles is featured on the album. McEntire produced the album with Tony Brown, James Stroud, and Doug Sisemore.

Handwritten, Shawn Mendes, April 14, 2015

“Handwritten” is the upcoming debut album by Canadian singer Shawn Mendes, set to be released on April 14, 2015, by Island. After signing a record deal with Island Records in June 2014, Mendes released his debut single “Life of the Party” which peaked at number twenty-four on the US Billboard Hot 100 with 48,000 copies sold in its first week. 

Love Story, Yelawolf, April 21, 2015

“Love Story” is the upcoming second studio album by American rapper Yelawolf scheduled to be released on April 21, 2015, by Slumerican, Shady Records and Interscope Records. Yelawolf described this album as a more passionate album than his debut album. The album’s recording process took place primarily in Nashville, Tennessee from 2012 to January 2014. Eminem, Malay, WillPower and DJ Paul, handled record production among others. The singles “Box Chevy V”, “Till Its Gone”, “Whiskey In a Bottle” and “American You” support it.

The month of April is always a great time to release an album. Many artists do so, mainly because it is good for marketing, but as time progresses, better albums will be released. 2015 has put out some great projects so far, and many more will come in the following months.
