March Upcoming Music: 2015

March has arrived, and many highly anticipated albums are scheduled to be released in later months. March has a few albums coming out that may be good. However, some weren’t advertised as much. Some of the best albums of the year have been kept on the down low.

Let the Road, Rixton, March 1

“Let the Road” is the debut studio album by English pop rock band Rixton, and was released on March 1, 2015. The album was released via School Boy Records, Giant Little Man, Mad Love, and Interscope Records. It was preceded by the release of the UK number-one hit single “Me and my Broken Heart” as well as the second international single, “Wait on me.”

Piece by Piece, Kelly Clarkson, March 2

“Piece by Piece “ is the seventh studio album by American recording artist Kelly Clarkson, released on March 2, 2015, through RCA Records. The follow-up to her first Christmas album, “Wrapped in Red” (2013), it is her first studio album containing all “original” material since “Stronger” (2011). Piece by Piece was preceded by the release of its lead single, “Heartbreak Song” which became a top forty hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Rebel Heart, Madonna, March 6

“Rebel Heart”  is the upcoming thirteenth studio album by American singer Madonna. It is scheduled to be released on March 6, 2015, by UMG Records. After a flurry of unexpected album content leaks, including thirteen early demos in December 2014, the record’s release was locked in for March 2015, and six of its tracks were officially released onto iTunes on December 20, 2014. On the same day, “Living for Love” was released as the album’s lead single.

Madness, Sleeping With Sirens, March 17

“Madness” is the upcoming fourth full-length studio album by American post-hardcore band Sleeping With Sirens. The album is set to be released on March 17, 2015, through Epitaph Records. The lead single, “Kick Me” was released on November 10, 2014, and to digital download outlets on November 16. On January 1, 2015, the band streamed the song “We Like It Loud” on Soundcloud and made it available to download for free for one day on their website. The second single “Go Go Go” was released on January 22, 2015. “The Strays” was released and premiered on KROQ-FM on March 3, 2015. The entire album was self-produced by Sleeping With Sirens and executively produced by John Feldmann. The album is the band’s first release following their departure from Rise Records in 2014. It’s also the first record to feature guitarist Nick Martin (Cinematic Sunrise) who replaced former guitarist Jesse Lawson.

Ludaversal, Ludacris, March 31

“Ludaversal” is the upcoming eighth studio album by American rapper Ludacris, it is scheduled for release on March 31, 2015 through Disturbing tha Police and Def Jamz Recording. The album was recorded from 2010 to 2014 and its production was handled by several producers, including Mike Will Made IT, David Guetta, Jim Jonsin, Rico Love, Girgolo Tuinfort, Da Internz.

The year is still early and the most highly anticipated albums are yet to come. Music will seem slow but in the following months it will get faster and more music will be released. The music scene will pick up quickly, but for now we just have to wait.
