Mrs. Anderson, AHS Spanish Teacher

Alliance High Spanish teacher, Mrs. Elizabeth Anderson, has been teaching for a total of 15 years. Before teaching, she went to college a different route than most. In Mexico, she attended Telenogico de Monterrey. She then attended the University of Santiago de Compegel in Spain, before finishing her studies at Nebraska Wesleyen. After college, she taught English at University of Muncia and Spanish at Chadron State College for several years. Mrs. Anderson then started teaching at Alliance High School. She has currently been teaching Spanish One and Two for eight years. When asked what she likes most about teaching, she simply said, “the students”. Mrs. Anderson is also the sponsor of the Spanish Club to give students a chance to learn and practice their Spanish in a fun environment. Outside of school, Mrs. Anderson likes to travel and read “Don Quijote”.
