Alliance High School had their 2023 homecoming Saturday night. The theme was Out of This World and it did not disappoint. Everyone was having a good time dancing and living their best life!
The student council made sure to give us an awesome dance this year. They spent their Friday night decorating the high school so we could all have fun. Allison Roberts, a student council supervisor said, “I think the dance was well planned and had very good decorations.” The outcome of the dance was incredible with 270 kids coming, that is the best outcome of an Alliance Homecoming dance in a while. “The students must have been entertained and having fun because typically if they weren’t they would’ve left by 10:30,” Mrs. Roberts mentioned.
I asked a few other people about how the homecoming dance was and a lot of them replied that it was a blast. I had a lot of fun dancing with my friends and the decorations were really well planned. Aleshia Hicks said, “I wished the Djs would’ve played a few better songs but overall it was really fun and I had a blast with my friends and the unicorn”! Aiva Raymer said, “It was very entertaining because the music choices were good and the dances were fun. I think it would’ve been better if there were more line dances, but overall I think it was a really good success!”
Mario Rodriguez said, “I was really nervous, I definitely was not expecting it, I am very glad that people like who I am as a person.” Ciara Hudson said, “I’m super excited and Im just glad that I get to be homecoming queen for my last year of high school.”
The student council hopes everyone had a good time at homecoming dancing with their friends and living the teenage life!
